Narrative Fiction (13 min) 

Tohfa is a narrative short film about Nadia and Nadir, a mother and son, as they navigate through their day to day lives in Abu Dhabi. Ibad Hassan made this film as part of my Film and New Media Capstone (thesis) project for the completion of his degree. 

Synopsis: Two days before his birthday, Nadir’s attempts at convincing his mother to find him a worthy gift are interrupted by an unexpected realization.
